These meditative pieces began with a longing to find some reflective practice in my work. Many of them draw on the rhythm of the sea, stones with seams of quartz carried in the memory from the coast of Devon and Cornwall, but occasionally stray into other forms too. A friend reflected that mandalas are all about bringing the fragments into the whole.  Alongside these circular forms, stone stacks also emerged, symbolising peace and balance.
