Jelly Ears

Updated: Oct 15, 2021

Unexpected visitors in the garden.

Every time I step into the garden, I find nature manifesting itself in unexpected ways. These jelly ears have grown from a piece of plywood delaminating quietly in the border between us and our neighbours.

They're edible, but as they've sprouted from a product that contains glue I'm leaving them where they are and just enjoying their disconcertingly ear-like forms.
